Cardiff’s half marathon

Cardiff’s half marathon

3rd October 2004

After months of careful training, Ivor Goodsite successfully took part in Cardiff’s half marathon, held annually in the Welsh capital.

Starting at Westgate Street, Ivor ran at a steady pace for 13.1 miles, arriving at the Millennium Stadium finishing post in an impressive 2 hours forty two minutes.

Ivor was running to raise money for the Barnados children’s charity and hopes to have risen in the region of £1000 towards their funds.

Kindly assisting Ivor in his marathon effort was Peter Everitt, assistant design manager from Taylor Woodrow which is involved in two major construction projects in Cardiff.

Both sites are members of Ivor’s favourite enterprise, the Considerate Constructor’s Scheme.
