Honor Goodsite joins amey Black and Veatch to teach about the environment!

April 2018

Honor Goodsite was delighted to attend Kelvin Park Early Years Centre with amey Black and Veatch in the West End of Glasgow. Amey Black and Veatch are Scottish Water’s waste water alliance partner and they wanted to teach the children everything there was to know about the environmental project they were undertaking to improve the River Kelvin. The team, along with Honor Goodsite and her environmental presentation, taught the children about the new infrastructure that was to be built and how it will stop items that the public put down the toilet from polluting the River Kelvin.

Another important lesson that the amey Black and Veatch team gave to the children was one about the danger of construction sites. They learned that construction sites are not playgrounds, but are potentially very dangerous for those who are not qualified and wearing all of the necessary safety items and clothing. To top off a fantastic day of learning and fun, Honor left to a chorus of children shouting her name and high-fives on her way out of the door!

Thank you amey Black and Veatch for a fantastic day out!
