ISG Construction enlist Ivor and Honor to teach school children about construction safety

Cambridgeshire
18th October 2017

ISG Construction were delighted to have Ivor and Honor help them teach the children of Thorndown Primary School all there is to know about construction safety on Wednesday 18th October 2017. The children gathered in the assembly hall and were asked to name the safety equipment that Ivor and Honor were wearing – needless to say the kids didn’t miss out on a single item!

Sue from ISG took the children through all the dangers of playing on building sites and advised that every care is taken by construction companies to prevent any of them from happening, for both their employees’ and the public’s safety. Many questions were raised by the children during the presentation which showed a really high level of awareness and interest from them.

Sue Meadowcroft, Senior Site Manager at ISG Construction who took the children through the presentation had this to say:

“Their wide-eyed expressions were priceless! Clearly some potential future construction colleagues in the making!”

The successful event culminated in a group selfie with the two celebrities for the day: Honor and Ivor Goodsite.
