John Sisk’s Community Engagement

John Sisk’s Construction Site in London

25th Novmeber 2014

As part of John Sisk’s community engagement, local children were invited to attend their site on November 25th where the children were split into 2 groups of 15.

Each group were shown a presentation on the dangers that could exist on a building site and why children should not play on them.

Following the presentation, the children were then escorted around the project and asked to look out for the relevant issues shown in the presentation.

The undoubted highlight for the children was a trip to the 8th floor in the hoist.

Following the walk around the site, the children were asked what dangers there were and it was surprising what they’d remembered!

The children were then presented with their goody bags in return for sending John Sisk a picture of either of the following; Ivor Goodsite, PPE, danger signs or plant. A prize will be presented to the best three entries and displayed on the site hoarding.
