McGee Group give safety talk to local school

Middlesex

19th June 2015

Ivor Goodsite attended The City of London School for girls with McGee to give them a lesson on safety around contruction sites. Ivor was kept busy throughout the day promoting the safety message to pupils, even helping McGee’s Marc Byrne, Head of Community Liaison; give informative but fun lessons for each class on how to stay safe around construction sites.

Each lesson lasted around 20 minutes and covered topics including: the importance of safety signs and equipment; the types of and purpose of personal protective equipment; identifying types of machinery on a building site and spotting the kinds of hazards that might also be found. Following the lesson, each class had the opportunity to complete a range of Ivor Goodsite colouring-in sheets or design their own safety poster
