Partner Construction talk to school children about health & safety in School assembly

28th April 2015

Partner Construction and Ivor Goodsite visited Highfield School in Staffordshire on Tuesday with Richard Singleton (Partner Construction Contracts Manager) and Grace Mackay (Marketing Executive) to help teach the children about site safety.

Ivor took part in a presentation to the whole school, whose ages ranged from 5-11. He told the children about the dangers of a building site and what measures are taken to keep the workers and public safe. He explained what safety signs are used for and why he wears all his PPE.

The children were then asked to make a poster showing what they learnt from the presentations. Partner Construction will then return to the school in a few weeks and choose a winner which will then be on show on the hoarding of the building site. The winners from the school will then have the chance to visit the site later in the year.

Partner are currently on site at Boney Hay Road, Burntwood building 20 units, the scheme comprises 8 x 3bedroom and 4 x 2bedroom houses, 2 x 1bedroom and 6 x 2bedroom flats.
